Wings Of Love

Gazing through my empty mind

I dream of love and all mankind

Looking through my lazy head

I smile for the living and weep for the dead

Is this life worth all it prevails

Wings of love crushed holes in sails?

Not knowing quite which boat to row

Traffic lights say stop, but you just want to go!

Looking for  something that just isn't there

Life's like a fairground, go on the rides if you dare

You think you've found happiness and true love

Only to find a raven, but where is your dove?

So tread carefully on the sodden ground

And maybe one day your heart will be found

Until such a day, you can but dream

Instead of a lonely river, you'll find a beautiful stream

One day!
