I am lost

I need to be found

Can't keep my feet firmly on the ground

Searching searching everywhere.....

To find my precious jewel

Under rocks, over there

Shouting shouting

People stare

Once I'm found

My heart will beat again

Please find me safe

But where? and when?

Tintagel Castle

Tintagel castle, surrounded by myth and magic

Overlooking the cliff tops

Merlins cave, a crashing wave

Against the castle rocks

Just imagine king arthur and his many knights

Drinking merrily around the round table

All their horses rest their weary heads

In the knights of the round tables stable!

Merlin waves his magic wand

And the sea sparkles with a million diamonds

glistening and sparkling

In the mid day sun

Tranquil, calm, still

The world is as one

And I am at one with the world

Murky waters, reveal big ugly fish

Darting in and out of your legs

Nibbling away at your inhibitions

A horse without a rider

Saunters by and gives you a wink

Which path to take?

Which magic potion shall I drink?

Ducks glide over the shimmering water

Reflections of cotton wool clouds

Guide their way

The weeping willow bows

Wake up wake up

It's only  dreams

But is anything always what  it seems???

Golden Daffodils

A glaze of golden daffodils

Row upon row, field upon field

Scattered randomly

By some mad scatterer of bulbs

Daffodil pickers beware

The sunlight hides their glare

Pick them at your peril

And live the nightmare

A carpet of white mist 

Wraps itself around the landscape

What lies beneath the mist?

Some mystery? some evil fiend?

Or just fields of golden daffodils unseen!

All Grown Up

Where have the years gone?

You've grown up far too fast

Make the most of their childhood

Because as soon as you know it, it's in the past!

Off to the pub with your mates

Your clearly an adult now

It doesn't seem five minutes ago

You were in your nativity play

Taking a well earned bow!

Now you've got a girlfriend

I see you less and less

But one thing will remain the same

Your room will always be a mess!

Your all grown up now

It's just one of those inevitable things

I'm just finding it very hard

To cut those apron strings

The world is truly your oyster

For you to truly explore

As each day passes Ash

I love you more and more

Diets

Food is my enemy

I worship it too much

Food is my comfort blanket

Why can't  I just look  and not touch?

Eat less, move more

Easy don't you think

I best get back on that stuff

You know, the meal within a drink

I just wanna be slim

Not too much to ask?

Can someone invent a diet please

That is clearly built to last!

I want to buy new clothes

That don't resemble a tent

Need to get rid of all this fat

Need to reinvent ( myself )

I know I can do it

Just need the willpower

Don't wanna look like a tub of lard

Wanna be a beautiful flower!!!

Disneyland Paris

You've waited so long for this trip

With such anticipation

Come on mum and dad hurry up

Take us to the station!

The train takes us to london

Waterloo is our stop

I feel an ABBA song coming on

Oh look there's a shop!

Stay in london over night

Can't sleep, excitement mounting

Hurry up time! go faster

All these sheep I am counting

I'm  finally on the euro star

My family by my side

These feelings of elation

I really just can't hide

Disneyland Paris

Staying at the hotel Cheyenne

So excited, can't wait to explore

Quick! lets write up a plan!

Three days, such alot to see

Queueing up for rides and such

Chasing after autographs

I love this place so much

Getting dizzy on the teacups

Thunder mountain, too fast for me

Let's explore the shop next

So much for us to see

Going to paris for the day

Exploring the usual sights

The glorious Eiffel tower

Best take the lift

Too many flights ( of stairs )

The view is amazing

Breath taking to behold

If Paris had a price tag

To me it's just been sold!

I've met mickey mouse

Eeyore, woody, tigger too

So many good things I have seen

You must visit Disneyland Paris

I can happily say I've been!
