SLIMMING WORLD

Slimming world is part of my life

And I'm feeling great

Doing lot's of walking

Putting healthy food on my plate

Fitting into clothes

That were hidden away in shame

I was just comfort eating

Only had myself to blame

Going down a dress size

Keeps me focused and gives me more self esteem

Now I'm not feeling sorry for myself

My face lets off a beam!

When I reach my target weight

I vow not to put the weight back on

Eat healthy, walk and swim

Make sure your life is happy and long!

EASTER

Easter is upon us once again

Chocolate eggs galore

Adverts for mouth watering food

Spilling out of every store

And don't forget your D I Y

Or your family feuds

Or binge drinking until you drop

And eating lots of different unhealthy foods!

I'm not a religious person

But even I can see

That Easter shouldn't just be about chocolate 

Agree or disagree??

How sad we all feel

Everything is tinged with sorrow

It just doesn't feel real

You've left a gap in our lives

That nobody can fill

But the world keeps turning

Why can't it just stay still?

You will always be in our hearts

Your memory will live on

I'm just struggling to come to terms

With the fact that you have really gone
