Crazy World

This world has gone crazy

Always bad news

Stabbings and shootings

Unstable people, with unstable views

Relatives distraught

At such mindless acts

Losing loved ones

Not understanding all the facts

What makes these people do these horrible things?

I wish I could read their minds

But that would make me feel worse

Because it would reveal all kinds

My heart goes out to those people

Who have lost someone dear

We shouldn't have to feel scared

Or live in a world full of fear

Life should mean life

But It doesn't any more

Where is the justice in the world?

What is wrong with our law?

End of The World

The end of the world is nigh

According to different resources

Best pack up our belongings

And let our lives run their courses

Why do people like to panic and scare us?

Life is what you make it

Aint gonna let some utter nonsense

Come along and bloody take it!!

End of the world parties will be rife

Any excuse I say

Sing and dance, be happy

Live life to the full each day

Don't listen to these people

They are only out to make money

How do they get away with It?

I suppose they think It's funny

It's not the end of the world

Gets spoken a lot 

But don't let that make you lose the plot

Just be grateful for what you've got

A New Year

A new year beckons

New hopes, new dreams

New life, new me

Not going to let my life fall around at the seams

Resolutions not to be broken

Positive words to be spoken

Take the happy with the sad

And the good with the bad

Will power strong

You can do this

Determination is all that's needed

Just think how happy you will be

When you know you have succeeded!!
