Our local is friendly and welcoming

Noisy at times but fun

So many people to talk too

Especially when your team has won

Live music every Saturday and Sunday

To sing along too or dance

Some people would probably dance on the tables

Given half the chance

Betting slips at the ready

Checking all the footie scores

Talking, laughing and joking

Rebels without a cause!

The landlord and landlady

Know almost everyone

Making sure all is well

And people are having fun!

I love our local pub

And it's only up the road

Listening to peoples stories

And how they all unfold

Not far to go home

When last orders have arrived

Our local is a busy pub

Which has thrived and thrived

So next time you find yourself in Albert road

Go visit THE RAILWAY INN

Another invite, another date to remember

Lot's of fun It'll be!

Okay okay what time? and where?

What is the dress code?

Do the drinks cost alot?

These things I need to be told!

It's fun being a party animal

And pretending that I'm young

Dancing the nite away

Every song just has to be sung!

You don't have to spend a fortune

Just be very a scrooge like me

Laugh, sing, dance, and smile

For all the world to see!

Life is too short to frown

So put on your party shoes

Listening to football commentary

Or singing along to your favourite songs

Being a super hero

And righting all the wrongs!

Spending the day with your family

Or going it alone

Reading letters of complaints all day

Why do people feel the need to moan?

Going out having fun

Duvet day watching dvd's

The house work just won't get done!

Everyone has a plan

Life is what you make it

So live life to the full

Before some bastard takes it!!

Now you can drive

Your world is your lobster

Cruising around the hoe

Like some famous mobster

You can go anywhere you like

But try not to get lost

Just think of the petrol

Think of the cost!

Giving lifts to friends

Drinking diet coke in the pub

Visiting family

Or going burger king for grub!

Now you can drive

Your freedom holds no bounds

But next time you leave your car at home

You will be buying lots of rounds!!!
